Hanging by a thread

Sometimes when we face the toughest storms in our lives, we tend to feel like it is never going to end.

We find ourselves hanging by a thread and it feels like the pain, heartache and disappointment just doesn’t want to go away.

In times like these we can’t help feeling helpless, like things are beyond our control and that we just don’t know how we are going to get through it all in one piece.

It’s feels like one bad thing after another happens to us and things are just piling up right in front of us which causes huge blockages in our lives. It makes us fearful, anxious, tired, angry and sad, all at the same time and that’s when we go straight into panic mode.

We end up feeling trapped with no clue how we are going to get ourselves out of it and for us the hardest thing to do at this stage, is to remain focused.

We become more and more overwhelmed with problems and immediately it starts affecting our minds in a negative way.

Before we know it, we become depressed and we end up falling into a pit of self destruction.

In the darkest moments in our lives we need to stand steadfast in the Lord. God promises us in Deuteronomy 31 vs 8 that He will never leave us nor forsake us and that we mustn’t be afraid or get discouraged because He will be with us every step of the way.

Everything we go through in life has a purpose and there is a reason for everything.

We need to stop trying to fix things ourselves and allow God to fix things for us because the battle is not ours it belongs to the Lord.

We need to stop focusing on the problem and start focusing on the Lord.

Everything that we go through in life has a beginning and an end, nothing lasts forever.

Always trust in the Lord, He knows what He is doing.

Stay true to yourself.
