Who’s The Boss

I have known Delmaine Van Niekerk for more than 10 years. The first time we met was at a company called RCS, where we worked together as call centre agents.  Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that our paths would cross in the way that it has now.   All I know is, that it was in God’s plan for us to work together again.

Delmaine Van Niekerk is not just a beautiful woman on the outside but most importantly her beauty radiates from within. I am extremely proud of her and of everything that she has accomplished thus far and I am really looking forward to see what God has instore for her and for us in the future.

Delmaine is a true example of how ones strength lies in your testimony, a true Queen that wears her invisible crown with so much pride.  Today, I have the great honour to share her story with you and I hope that her journey will inspire you as much as it has inspired me.

For many years, Delmaine struggled with being over weight but not just that she struggled with terrible acne too. She started to develop feelings of low self-esteem and really felt bad about herself. At the age of 19, she was diagnosed with hypertension and when she received her diagnosis she decided to change her life around completely.

She started to accept the challenges instead of avoiding them.  She decided to take charge of her life instead of waiting around for something to happen. She started changing her lifestyle completely and this helped boost her self confidence again.

Her new outlook on life sparked something inside of her, before she knew it she started developing an interest in the Health, Wellness and Beauty Industry.  For 8 years Delmaine had the privilege to work with a strong Corporate Health and wellness team. It was during this time where her passion for woman’s health, wellness and beauty started.

Delmaine’s passion for beauty led her to go and study Make-up and Skin at the Head2Toe make up school.  After completing her course she started her own Beauty brand called Dee’s Make Up Artistry and decided to do make up on a part time free-lance basis. She learned so much through engaging with different types of woman and decided to use what she had learnt to  gain more experience.  She soon realised what power make up actually has and how it makes us as women feel.

Delmaine believes that beauty products help you get your self confidence back and that’s the truth. There is definitely Power in Beauty and beauty goes so much deeper than what meets the eye. Beauty is an inside job and it’s important for you to find yourself first. Beauty is not only what people can see on the outside but it comes from within.

In May 2015, Delmaine decided to take a sabbatical. She took a leap of faith and took time out to do some introspection. She realised that she needed to let go of all the negativity in her life and that she needed to step into her purpose so that she could be of service to others.

In her time spent at home, God opened up so many doors for her. She was invited to various platforms where she was able to share her personal experiences with others.  This later turned into motivational and empowerment speeches and it later ended up becoming a platform for her to motivate and empower woman from all walks of life.

Delmaine’s Motto is simple, in order to be beautiful you have to possess a beautiful mind, heart and soul. Beauty starts from the four quartrends of the heart and it starts from within.

Delmaine Van Niekerk has a BA in Psychology, she is a motivational/empowerment speaker and she hosts beauty bootcamps to equip woman of all ages with the necessary tools to uplift themselves. She also does community work where she reaches out to people in under privileged areas and she is a Youth facilitator as well.

Delmaine is the founder of her company called Beauty from within.  She is also a professional make up artist, image consultant and professional hair stylist. She has worked with so many professionals and celebrities both local and international and they have all been mentors on her journey to success.

She has made her television debut on SABC 2 Hectic 99 where she was featured as a beauty model and she has also been on SABC 3 Afternoon Express where she was interviewed on Road Safety and Travelling with families.

Delmaine Van Niekerk found her purpose by turning what was once a challenge for her into a possibility. She is a true example of Destiny Unlocked. She found the key to unlock her destiny and decided to step into her purpose.

If she can do it, so can you.

Stay true to yourself.

Hi my princess, may God do what you want most and let all go well for you. Then you will win victories, and we will celebrate, while raising our banners in the name of God. May the Lord answers all of your prayers. Luvu Nanna.
